GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The DT4110 is a 5V PMU comprised of a linear charger and a step-up DC-DC converter.
The charger is able to deliver 1A charging current to a single Li-ion battery. It charges a battery in three phases: trickle charging, constant current, and constant voltage. The charge voltage is fixed at 4.2V/4.35V, and the charge current can be programmed externally with a single resistor. The charger automatically terminates the charge cycle when the charge current drops to 1/10 of the programmed value after the final float voltage is reached, and automatically restarts the charge if the battery voltage falls below an internal threshold.
The step-up DC-DC converter can deliver 5V1A output from 2.7V Supply Voltage, or 5V2.1A output from 3.5V.
The DT4110 has Soft Start, UVLO and Thermal Shutdown protection functions and charging indictor output.
The DT4110 is available in ESOP8 package.
